Shibani Dandekar’s Summer Wardrobe Finds Its Hero Piece In This Payal Singhal Co-Ord Set, We Love ‘Em Shades
Shibani Dandekar has always been pretty bold with her wardrobe choices. Her wedding was the biggest proof you’d ever need. And being designer Payal Singhal’s favourite muse, Shibani played dress up for the collection launch of the designer’s new creations. Having fun with her signature folklore aesthetic, Payal Singhal unveiled her brand new designs yesterday in Mumbai and welcomed some popular faces from fashion and film industry to witness the grand launch. One amongst the celebrity lineup was Shibani Dandekar who wore a playful co-ord set from Payal’s Spring-Summer edit. Featuring multi-hued geometric patterns, the semi-bandeau top had an interesting, one-shouldered voluminous sleeve with an asymmetric neckline. The oversized palazzo pants also featured an amalgamation of various prints in shades of neon green, magenta, purple and pink.
For hair, Shibani relied on a messy look, with a full face of makeup, a bright fuchsia pink lip colour and neon green, open-toe heels. Posing for a picture, Mrs Akhtra turned a bouquet of roses into her favourite new accessory. While the print play looked absolutely spectacular, it indeed was a perfect pick for summers.
Talking about Payal Singhal’s latest, Spring-Summer ’22 collection–‘Folklore’ that ventured into a vibrant colour scheme, the prints aim to pay tribute to the age-old stories, fables that travelled through generations and served as a connecting thread. Playing around with her signature design language, which mirrors the nuance of bohemia, the silhouettes from the line-up urge the wearers to embrace the uniqueness and a piece to revive cultural, traditional roots.
